The Potez 25 was one of the most widely used aeroplanes of the 1920s and 1930s. The Potez company produced its type 25 not just for the French Air Force and Navy, the biplane was also exported to any countries in Europe, Asia and Americas. In some of these countries the type was also manufactured under licence. The Potez 25 was mainly powered by in-line engines, some versions could also be fitted with a radial, most often of the Jupiter type.
